The Newsreader


The Newsreader~ Watercolor over gesso~ Full Sheet


Started this painting last week and I think I have gotten to a resting point. Let it set in for a couple days and see what pops out. I will post a few progress shots.

    I love how the gesso surface lets your brushwork show. Great job!

    Hey Katherine, How is the boat?
    The brushwork does show, and you build the paint in layers but not like your regular glazes, more like fitting in puzzle pieces.

    Hi Gretha, Thanks.
    He went straight to the Dow Jones :( .....Not a happy camper. There's a big empty spot in Hillsboro where GIJo used 2B.
