Oh my. I am awed! Just lovely pieces, Carrie. I especially love that mountain mist in the second painting and that you have done a figure so beautifully under the terms of "fast and simple" is astonishing! Well done!
Thanks for taking a look. The first two were some old class demos from a class I taught - do four little paintings in half hour w/ different light angle. There were more of Mt. Hood but this was my favorite.
the mountain is never easy to paint without it looking sort of corny..somehow you managed to paint it without any undue sentiment. It's beauuutiful
