Post Convention

Hyon Fielding was my assistant for the Past President's Paint Out last Saturday in Sun River.  She took such good care of me I thanked her with a small landscape painted there.  She said she would even continue helping me at award ceremony if needed because I couldn't stay. Surprise, surprise! She called later and said I did win so that means my painting for the first time will be in the traveling show aound Oregon for six months.  I'll get home soon and find out the particulars.
Oh, One final thing - I had this idea while out here in the boonies without any chap stick was to try (I was desperate) roll on deodorant!  I don't recommend it, thumbs down, Awful!

  2. Congratulations on the win! I wish I could say the same with your idea of roll-on as a good sub for Chapstick... Vaseline isn't good either because the petroleum dries your lips so badly.

  3. Congratulations on your win and being in the Travel Show! --Chap lips can drive you to do crazy things. Thanks for the tip on what would be going too far. My tip is: a chapstick in every coat pocket, one in the car, one in my purse. Buy bulk.
