Lots in Progress

I've been working on a couple of paintings and then going out sketching with different people and different locations.Busy busy- almost too busy to blog. Over the weekend a group met from the watercolor society and then there was the urban sketcher group and Monday night was the costumed model. I like having all these things, places to go - people to meet.  Check out some highlights. Summer is flying.

  1. That portrait of the little one up there is absolutely phenomenal, Carrie. In fact, all of your work strikes me that way. So glad to read of the fun you are having!

  6. Carrie, I think you've become my sketching hero. Your ink sketches with water color wash are my favorites...just the right amount of lines and in a creative way for each subject. I've been observing on the group site and your own. Very nice job, lots of patient but fun squiggles that lead the eye of the viewer in to finish the story.
